Panasonic says it is one of the most valuable aspects of the EDU program, especially for teachers and school administrators who want to launch a film and media program, but are not sure how to start.

“With video explosion on social media and web (YouTube, tiktok, etc.), video production has become a real career route for students – whether they go to platforms like fiction filmmaking, TV, podcasting, corporate marketing, or especially YouTube,” says Panasonic. Petpixel“To help schools meet this demand, we are offering an independent, easy-to-follow course created by Lumics Ambassador Andrew Roberts, leading the award-winning film and TV program at Matter Dei High School in Southern California.”

Panasonic says that the curriculum includes full lesson plans and teaching guides to assist at the beginning of new programs.

“The 1-year track for schools for schools is perfect, and there is a 4-year track for those programs that want to build a year-away skills. It covers everything from basic camera operation to editing, storytelling and production workflow-and it is flexible, so the teachers want to launch it for their schedules, classroom setup, and available.

On a related note, the Lumix EDU program provides access to industry experts such as Lumics Ambassadors and Creators who offer workshops and advice opportunities. Planning to offer both long-term, Panasonic in-Person and Virtual Workshops.

“Thanks to our network of lumics ambassador and manufacturer team, schools can bring working filmmakers and photographers to share their experience.

The Lumix EDU program is going to provide access to materials that are not usually available to the public, such as real shoots, students back and forth from student-friendly tutorials, and spotlights at student work that can be shared on Lumics’ Instagram, Ticketkok and YouTube channels.

Finally, the promise of cooperation with film festivals and educational partners is felt through Lumics’ partnership with the SlamDance Film Festival, which says it is also a strong education initiative.

“We have worked with Metter Dei High School and, with SlamDance, we are forming a partnership with the Competon School district so that students can help in creating original projects using lumics cameras. This participation is hopeful that students get real -world experiences outside the classroom, and to see that it is part of the film and media industry.

This is an important initiative and is just beyond concessional devices, which is also a great perk in itself. Panasonic students and teachers are inviting to apply for access to program content and resources Lumix Edu website,
