When the OM system launched the OM -3 in February, it recurred on the “Creative Dial” feature from Pen -F, which provides quick access to various color profiles for JPEG files. The OM-3 recipes hub, however, allows you to download the dishes uploaded by other users, which allows you for a creative form without fidling with individual settings. The new hub currently features six dishes, each of which is developed by a separate photographer and provides a different look. For example, the recipe of Jerred Z is a monochrome profile with soft midtones, deep shade and some grains. The Kiler Steel’s profile is described as a “vintage -induced recipe that focuses on a lively greens and golden yellow, removing the blues.” The hub has also introduced a section to check images taken with OM-3 recipes to find inspiration and see what others are making.
Still a few steps are required to install, but it is the least easier than inputting specific parameters (something you have to do, says, the recipe system of the Fujifilm). To install a recipe, photographers need to download the recipe attached to the recipe, plug the camera into the computer through the USB-C and open the OM workspace app. You are not able to install dishes using Oi.share mobile app. Changing the name of dishes is also not completely ideal, as it can only be installed on camera.
