My husband and I lived on a cruise ship for 2 months with my 6-year-old daughter-ie how it was

As a trip to the travel + lezer column, we are talking to travelers to detect the world through their unique approaches. We interacted with TV host and anchor Christian Klein Foodfamilytravel.comWho packed her life with husband Dan Satell and the then year-year-year daughter, Livia, and rode on the explorer of the region seize creeze for about two months, documenting her exploits in her series, “Life over seize.” Here is his story …

I have been hovering since I was a child, mostly through Mexico and Caribbean, and I always loved it. My family also celebrated holidays in Europe, so when we learned about Mona Lisa or London’s tower in school, I already had a touchpoint as I was earlier in these places. As a result, these experiences with my daughter, Livia were also important for me, because I knew that it was such a great way to learn.

We were on Cruises as a family Before that, but what we had the longest was about a week. I had heard of the people living on a ship, and I started thinking, both my husband and I work from a distance and we homescool to our daughter, so why not overcome our time, ride a ship, work in the sea in those days, and then find out the world and when we are on the port, there is amazing thrill?

So, I reached out Regent Consuming Ceeel Cruise To see if anything like this was possible, and he immediately said yes. We lived on board for three legs, two which were about two weeks and one and one close to three. I felt that it was a magical, brand-new idea, with which I came with, but between the second and third legs, I was surprised to know that 167 others were doing the same thing exactly.

When you go on two weeks vacation, and you are traveling half the world, you have essentially six days where you feel functional. But this gave us a chance to go for about two months from beginning to end. We started SydneyWent around Australia And through New ZealandIncluding the International Antarctic Center, where we experienced an Arctic snow storm. We were in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Rotorua.

Then, we came back and again moved around Australia, until Kuktown and Darwin, where we saw a jumping crocodile. Then, through Indonesia, including Comodo island, where we saw Komodo Dragons, which you cannot easily reach, walking in the wild in one place. And then Surbaya and BaliBefore going to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and finally ended Singapore,

One of the reasons we wanted with Regent was that the tour was all included, so we could determine what our lesson plan was going to happen for our daughter. Many were eco or animal adventures that I knew that he would appeal to him, as well as cultural experiences. I wanted him to see how people from all over the world live and how we are all different, but we are all the same.

So, we talked Antarctica And it is one of the most dried places on Earth, and went through the Foordland National Park, which is all glacier runoff. We have passed through rain forests and learned about different types – an Australian rain is quite different in Forest Indonesia, where there is tropical heat. We experienced everything from extreme cold to excessive heat. This was really a way of learning that is different from going through a book or tablet. We were able to show him physically.

He is completely suffering from animals. We talked about dinosaurs in the past, and she wanted to know if crocodiles were around when dinosaurs were roaming on the earth. We saw Casovery, these grand birds that look like dinosaurs. He saw that his claws looked like a Velosirapter. These are just one type of things that make a 6 -year -old observation. Once, he suddenly asked about the Penguin’s pregnancy cycle, we all caught all.

What was special that we were learning with him. I did not see a casual in real life, either. There was a lot to take it, and it was the best way for us to digest all, it was all from taking Jernling – not only for our website, but also for us. Livia absorbed so much in such a short time, and I know that she is going to miss it a lot for the rest of her life.

Of course, I was worried about staying away from family and friends for a long time. But it did not become an issue. He immediately made friends on the board, and even became the best friend with the captain’s son.

She returned home with her friends. It was very cute to see his friend with ballet, who was asking about everything he did and the animal he saw. He told Livia, “This is not just the same without you.” You have something like a parent near that moment. But then Livia was telling her friend about being able to see white tigers and cloud leopards.

At one point, Livia said to her, “You have to try to Escargott. It’s snail, and you will like it!” Among all the things in the world, it was not something that I felt that we were going to hear from him. But he discovered it on the board and it was every day. This is now his favorite food. For her birthday, I contacted Regent and was enough to share the chef recipe compass rose With us, and we made it at home.

The first two weeks of the journey, we felt as if we were on leave. When we first came on the board, we were completely unplaced, and our daughter filled the place with her toys. It actually switched to our brain that it is home for now. We live ExplorerWe became close on the board with crew and other passengers. We were exactly where we were going to happen.

One thing I was afraid that I was going to remember that he was cooking, but eating on the board was incredible. In addition, I saw that I had a long time for self-care and work because I was not cooking, working, or taking my daughter from any of her activity. You have this additional underlying time.

We will use time to go in high tea, detect ship, enjoy music and get ready for dinner. My husband loved walking on our balcony and working in the gym.

We also had time for spontaneous activities. We spent an additional day in Sydney and saw “Jesus Christ Superstar”. We were accidentally in Melbourne during the Australian Open. My husband is a very big fan and we (Novak) got to watch and win the Djokovic Play and win.

But there was a surprise every day. When we woke up in the morning, we would know that we were going to Singapore Knight Safari, but we did not know that we would feed an Indian rhino and kangaroo, which the merts would jump on us, and raise a coola.

Our daughter realized the importance of travel while playing with other children in Sydney outside the Opera House, or Surbaya, in Indonesia, running on these small roads and having fun together. It was very good to see people around the world want the same thing.

To be a parents, these are experiences, and look at the world through my daughter’s eyes – it was not just educational for her, it was also a very big experience for us. It was very interesting to see what she raised, how she changed, the confidence she created.

On our last night, I had to rest my daughter till 3 o’clock because she did not want to leave. You always wonder it as a parents. How is my child feeling when all this is over? It was a heartbreaking and powerful to equal parts. We have established a love for him, looking at the world, meeting new people, and getting these experiences that we were able to create together as a family.

See their thrill Foodfamilytravel.comAnd stay for the “Life Over Sij: The Sequel”, coming soon.
