Alex Marx topped the second practice with the final-gap effort for the Thai Grand Prix, while Francesko Bagania failed to secure an automatic entry into the Q2.
Riding last year’s GP24, Gracini Ryder set the best time of 1M29.020 with a few seconds to leap his elder brother and factory Ducati Rider Markets to leap in an hour -long session.
Six -time Motoogi Champion Mark Markez also managed to improve his time on his final flying lap, but was eventually injured 0.052S behind.
Pedro Acosta of KTM jumped third at the end of the practice, while Aprilia Rider Marco was able to finish fourth despite a late accident in Bezchi Turn 3.
The collapse of Bezchi excluded the yellow flag, which meant that the best attempt of Bagania’s 1M29.492S was removed by race control.
The two -time Motogp Champion made another attempt to secure a place in Q2, but when he faced VR46’s Franco Morbideli on the racing line, his last attempt was very low. He eventually ended 13th position.
Morbideli made himself safely through the second part of the qualifying in the fifth, beyond Joan Mir’s top Honda, but can be punished to disrupt Bagania.
Both trackhouse riders ended within the top 10, while the Fabio Quartaro directed Yamaha to be eighth place despite a late accident.
