Volkswagen Group of America Ink has called some 2021 SQ8, A6 sedan, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, RS6 Avant, RS7, RSQ8, S6 sedan, S7, S8, A6 Allroad and SQ7 vehicles back due to software issues.
“The virtual cockpit instrument cluster of a vehicle may stop due to detection of an internal mistake,” reads a document related to recall. “When this happens, engine speed (RPM), vehicle speed and gear/mode indicators will not be displayed. Also, other information, such as time, date and mileage are also not displayed. Warning, tail and gauge that do not display, may increase the risk of accident.”
Those who run the 2021 Audi model are encouraged to visit the NHTSA website, where the vehicle will find the discovery of the identity number whether the vehicle is part of the recall or not.
