Seventh annual winner Minimum photography award Show that less is more, sometimes too much. More than 2,600 photographers from over 50 countries entered this year’s competition, each demonstrated extraordinary creativity in modern minimum photography.
Minimum photographer of year 2025
This year’s minimum photographer of the year is Alexandros Othonos, who won the top title for his series, “Threads of Memory”. The project, which earned the € 2,000 grand award to the photographer, replaces the vintage family photos carefully by keeping the thread, making the past connected to the present.

Photographers competed in a dozen total categories, of which the winners are depicted below. It is worth noting that Othonos secured the first position in the “conceptual,” category, so the second place finisher in that category is depicted below instead.
