Colorado firm Studio B Architecture + interiors The leaf has completed, Repair To make a home of the 1960s “to make the spirit of the original structure” for the founders of the studios to make it suitable for modern life.

When the couple bought a two-storey house-it was designed by Paul Fisher-it was living but dated. During an established neighborhood, the house was hidden behind overgrade shrubs and trees.
Lindenas lived in the house for four years before deciding on a complete renovation, as “the system failed and time took the toll”.
Renewing took 2,400-class (223-meter) house on its stud to address structural issues and bring the house to modern standards. New mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were installed.
The kitchen was opened to the living room, and the layout below was modified. New finishes were added throughout the house.
The team said, “The original finish was removed, and new ones were added to create a harmonious, refined material palette that complements the natural surroundings,” the team said.
Maintaining the essence of the original house was an important concern, especially on the exterior, which has a brick and dark-wood cover.
The team said, “A lot of attention was given to ensure that the house maintained its external authenticity.” “Pire was a change that aims to preserve the spirit of the original structure by updating it for contemporary life.”
In the plan, the house is once that turns on both ends. The entrance is marked with a thick roof by an original portion-coco.
The front door leads to the upper level of the house, where one gets a division between public and private places.
On one side is the main bedroom, while on the other side there is a living room and dining space. The central part keeps the kitchen.

The lower level of the house covers a bedroom, family room and study with mechanical space. Internal finish includes wide-plank Oak Floor, porcelain tile and solid-satisfied kitchen countertops.
In the main bedroom, the team revealed Solid The block wall, which was hidden behind drywall and wood paneling.
“As part of renewal, they restored the block into its natural texture and tone – brought back its original glitter and allowed the raw, honest character of the material to shine,” the team said.
The decoration was selected by Susan Oki Lindenou and it includes feces and dining chair CasinaA sofa by Vladimir Kagan and light by Arturo Alverez. The sofa at the lower level, which was rebuilt, is a family heritage purchased in Copenhagen in the 1960s.
This house is adorned with modern and tribal arts of Lindenas in Africa, South America and other places. The house serves as a “a vessel of memory” for the global journey of the owners.
During housing, adequate windows provide immersive views of the landscape as it changes through the season. In winter and spring, when trees are naked, the house is seen far away in distance.
