Sporting CP President Frederico Varandus has convicted Premier League clubs for increasing the price of Victor Gockey.
Commenting on the ongoing transfer saga, the game chief said: “Today I think there is a strong possibility that he will leave. In these last few weeks of the market, we are attentive, and I saw a player, (Martin) Zubemandi, which is six months shorter than Victor, leaves for 65 million euros.
“I looked forward to both Mathus Kunha and (Brian) Mbeumo, but those who do not have the market value or quality of Victor, in my opinion, and are being interacted for values in the order of 75 million euros.
“We are talking about 26 -year -old players. Given the demands we consider to be a fair price, I believe Victor can leave, as long as he does not have the worst agent in the world, which is difficult to believe me, because he is one of the best footballers in the world.”
