Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur supporters booked the final-winning trips in the finals of the Europea League, being charged on thousands of pounds.
Direct return flights from UK to Bilbao in northern Spain cost more than £ 1,000, hotel rooms are at least £ 1,200, while match tickets are available on resale websites from around £ 500.

Easyjet is charging £ 1,823 on Wednesday morning to fly from Gatwick to Bilbao and return on Thursday morning. A return journey from Heathro with British Airways – on Wednesday morning, on Thursday afternoon – cost of £ 1,288.
