M-Sport agrees new deal with Munster for 2025 WRC


gregoire munster Will team up with M-Sport-Ford for a second full-time season in the World Rally Championship next year.

Munster has agreed a new deal with the British squad to run one of two Ford Puma Rally1 cars after completing its first full season at the top level of the WRC with the operation this year.

The Luxembourger, who will turn 26 on Christmas Eve, was in the running to retain his seat with M-Sport. Munster will once again be linked with a Belgian co-driver louis lauka,

This year the pair showed flashes of brilliance in their first full season at the top level, finishing fifth in Sardinia, Central Europe and Japan.

“I’m really looking forward to next year and the opportunity to drive for PUMA again, especially with the good team structure and environment in M-Sport,” Munster said.

“I am delighted to be continuing with Luis as we aim to continue our progress into the top division and improve from where we finished in 2024.

“Of course, that means finishing in the top five with fourth place overall, and hopefully eventually getting some podium places as well. I’m excited to see what we can do.”

M-Sport Team Principal Richard Milner is looking forward to seeing Munster and Lauka take the next step in their WRC careers with the team.

“I really enjoyed working with Grégoire and Lewis this year, so having them back again in 2025 is a big positive for me,” Milner said.

“They have made some great progress during their first year, and although we must remain realistic with the goals and expectations for them in 2025, this is a great opportunity for both of them. I am thrilled to be working with him again for another full season and believe he thoroughly deserves this opportunity.”

While Munster offers M-Sport continuity until 2025, its second seat will be filled by a new face adrien fourmauxdecision to join Hyundai Motorsport,

The team has said that the identity of its second driver will be revealed tomorrow.

“Moving into 2025, Munster and Lauka will lead M-Sport’s line-up with another promising junior crew to be announced tomorrow,” a team statement said.
