One trend that has not faded is the Dubai Chocolate Bar candy bar.

Their audience went crazy for the $25 milk chocolate bar, which has a crunchy green filling knafeh (sliced pastry made with cheese and sweet syrup), pistachios, and tahini.
The bar’s popularity skyrocketed, leading it to rank fifth in Google’s recently released “Year in Search”, which revealed the top trending food and drink searches of 2024. While recipes attempting to replicate candy bars have surfaced online, they are time-consuming and labor-intensive to make.
For those of us who prefer less-effort homemade recipes, consider three-ingredient peanut butter cookies or two-component Fake Chocolate Mousse-The Dubai-inspired chocolate bar seemed out of reach. That is, until Lindt decided to create its own version.

But don’t expect to find it at your local grocery store, as the limited-edition bars will only be available in Lindt retail stores — and for one day only: Thursday, December 12.
Your best chance to nab one is at the Lindt New York Empire State Shop in Manhattan, starting at 9 a.m. until the $14.99 bars sell out. It will also be available in limited numbers at select Lindt Chocolate shops across the US, although Lindt has not provided a list of these locations.
Lindt His version of the viral cure has been described as “an experience not to be missed”. The bar offers Lindt’s signature melt-in-the-mouth milk chocolate filled with pistachio butter, kadayif (crunchy pastry strips), and tahini.
Can’t find Lindt’s Dubai Chocolate Bar?
Given the hype, don’t be surprised if these bars start reselling on eBay for exorbitant prices. after Trader Joe’s $4 Mini Totes Sold for $250 on eBay after the sale, it became clear that viral items in short supply command hefty prices.
But, if you miss out, think twice before “buying” on a resale site. when asked Instagram whether the bars will be sold in regular stores, Lindt replied, “We are currently evaluating the opportunity to make Lindt Dubai chocolate more widely available.”
Our guess? If these chocolate bars sell out quickly, Lindt may start taking that opportunity more seriously – and sooner than anticipated.
