Baubles with importance! When Jessica Jessie launched her jewelry line Malevolent In 2013, she only wanted to make more than arm candy – and is a meaningful reason.
This idea was first when the founder returned from a trip to ancient monasteries in Thailand, in which the wrist was standing in a simple gold plastic bracelet.
“I was surprised whether these small bangles could become a daily companion for mindfulness and reminders, reminiscent of stopping, breathing and existing. … It was not about a long time of attention. It was about continuity, intentions and grace,” she explains.
This idea turned into his creed-pasandida All weather bangles® – The idea of handcrafted by artisans in Thailand – Plus, the idea of Mindful Glamor®, a philosophy that embraces beauty and appearance equally.
“A woman may be bright on the outside, while living a deep reflective life,” says creative director.
“I have never believed in this stereotype that depth comes only in granola clothes or simplicity. … It refuses to choose between beauty and appearance.”
The CEO’s own routine reflects the same balance. Each morning begins with reciting an individual mantra, burning a candle, installing desires, reading and taking a cup of lemon water or tea.
The ritual of decoration comes from there.
“I set my intentions as I have placed on each bangle. … I move them on my wrist and stop.
And Jessie takes that energy in the rest of its days.
“If we choose to be fully present, everything has the ability to be holy. … I intend to contact each task whether it is thanking my car before driving, or the work, I contact each intention.”
