Apple has announced the iPhone 17 Air, which is lighter and slimmer than the company’s standard iPhone 17 and 17 Pro. The company says it is only 5.6 mm thick, and its weight is 165g (5.82oz). Comparatively, regular 17 7.95 mm thick and weighs 177g (6.24Oz).
However, this pocketability comes at a cost: while other phones of Apple offer several rear-faceing cameras, there is only one in the air. It uses the same 26 mm equivity. F1.6 lenses and 48MP type 1/1.56 (48 mm) as the sensor base iPhone 17, with the same capacity to harvest in a center area for 2x zoom.

Apple says that it has created a “new image pipeline” for the phone, allowing it to digitally add Bokeh to the portrait without being able to get depth data from other cameras of the phone.
The iPhone 17 Air also includes large, square selfie cameras found on other iPhone 17 models. The phone can record both front and rear cameras at once. Despite the slimmer size, it retains the camera control button offered at 16S, which acts as a quick shortcut to launch the camera app, and a multi-functional controller once it is opened.
The phone has a 6.5 “display, which is the same as found with peak brightness of 3000 notes on standard iPhone 17 and 120Hz refresh rate.
