The Motogp World Championship returns in two weeks after its summer break, with a series of five double-headers closed-10 rounds in three months.
After the Austrian Red Bull Ring visit in mid -August, the Motogp Padock will go to the relatively new Balton Park Circuit for the first Hungarian Grand Prix after 1992.
Located on the banks of the Balton Lake, about 55 miles in the south -west of Budapest, the new track has shaken the curiosity in Padock, so we talked to the best possible source – someone who is still running there.
Alvaro Botista competed in the inaugural World Superbike Round in the circuit in the last weekend, he was out of Race 3 before finishing third in Race 1 and 2. Spaniel was running third when he lost at a high speed of his Ducati. He became a tumble several times. Because his bike was finished on safety obstacles.
Unlike some other riders like Ikar Lekona, who branded the track “Not Safe”, Botista does not think it is dangerous.
“Everything that was said, I expected to be very bad honestly,” he told Motorsport.com. “Let’s just say that it positively surprises me. There is a lot of grip in the asphalt.”

Bautista believes that it is dependent on the riders to assess risks, especially going to Chicane. This is the place where the most serious incident of WorldsBK weekend occurred, a pile-up that initially consisted of six bikes.
“I don’t think it will be a problem in Motogp, as riders in that class know that they cannot take excessive risk. But the people of the Moto2, and especially in the Moto3, have to be really careful-especially in the first lap,” said the WorldsBK Champion twice.
Regarding obstacles, Botista noted some places, where the scope of the circuit is narrow and must be adjusted ideally. “On Turn 1, the wall is very close, and even outside Turn 5. In those two sections, if something goes wrong, it can be dangerous,” the Ducati Rider insisted.
Measuring 4.08 km with 17 corners, Balleton Park, Sessioning (3.67 km) and Valensia (4.01 km) are the third smallest track on the calendar after, and all indications indicate it to be the fastest circuit.
Toprak razgatlioglu’s polysetting lap was 149 km/h at the WorldsBK, 5 km/h 5 km/h compared to the last fastest track Cramanona.
“This is a very slow track that is in favor of the agile bike. Whatever may be, can dig the wings,” Botista Joke, before adding: “With superbikes, with superbikes, we only hit the fifth gear on one – and then immediately downshift.
