I refuse to go into credit card loans for fashion. easier said than done. Because online shopping is literally one of my job requirements as a fashion editor, I am constantly facing the temptation of overconsu. I can’t avoid browsing New arrival of H&MZara’s sale, or Net-e-Porter’s designer shoe section. I have to do Identify clothes celebrities And help our readers Match the vibe of his favorite stylish TV showIt is all easy for me to say that it will be very easy for me to buy, buy, buy. But then I will not have an 800 credit score, am I?
I cannot control external temptations, but I can control my spending habits. I have some suggestions how I avoid credit card loans, and I promise that they are not involved in rich, marrying rich, or being rich parents. If any of those things were true, I retired at the age of 25. Continue reading to learn the mistakes of three purchases that I never do.
1. I never consider purchasing personally personally
I do not follow traditional advice when I talk about shopping. Before shopping, you can ask yourself how many times you will wear it and if you can already style it with your own pieces. For me, these are wrong questions because I can justify any personal purchase. For example, if I am considering buying a dress, I will think a group of places I can wear and everything that I style it. I can also explain myself that this is a great cost of wearing per myself. Sometimes I am not even honest with myself about my answers!
Instead of considering a purchase in isolation, I always compare many potential purchases. How much do I want this, which I also needs compared to all other things? For me, this is the right question to consider because it makes me prioritize what I love and narrow my wish list.
As I compare many potential purchases, I use Pinterest. I have a secret board where I pin everything I am watching, allowing me to see and compare a group of products at one place. Among all the things in this list, what do I want the most? This has only helped me spend money on things I really love.
2. I oppose the urge to buy multiples of some objects
Sometimes, one I need one. If it is not broken, why do it fix it? I have a job. I wear a pair of sunglasses. (This is partially because they are made with prescription lenses, so they are a part of a problem to change, but my point remains.) I have a straw hat, a belt, a puffer jacket and a black-tied dress.
Obviously, there are categories for which it will never work. I will first admit that I have many pair of jeans, a t-shirt sleep, a lot of sneakers, a handful of blazers and a large number of sweets. But if ever there is an opportunity to own a version of something, I will take it. And I will only change the item when it actually runs its course.
3. I try not to shop on a time limit
I will not lie: I am guilty of panic before a particular program and assuring myself that I have nothing to wear. Heck, it is also not a “special” opportunity for me to start fret! But shopping with a time limit means that I can buy some sick-fittings because I do not have time to tailor it. Or I can do something that I don’t love just because I was desperate to buy Anything New. How long is new always better? I have to remind myself that it’s not.
