How Lenovo helped Ducati to make his Bagania success

After several months, old Francaco gardenia Japanese turned into Grand Prix. After some of the most pathetic race of his career, Ducati’s two -time Motogi Champion suddenly found his form, creating a major weekend in Mottegi.

Although it is always dangerous that declaring a rider as ‘back’ on the strength of an outing, is a strong indication that Ducati has succeeded in giving the mysterious ‘feeling’ to Bagania, which he is most missing in 2025. If so, it is a pleasant end to the biggest technical story of the year of Motogp.

Bagania’s travels aboard the same GP25 team-met Mark marks All oppositions were used to crush, which has been one of the chart-topping talkings points, a head-speaking to the team, media and fans. The bike was obviously a race-winner, but some connections were missing between the machine and the plantation. Engineers like a challenge, but pushed everyone’s patience.

The essence of the work was changing the ongoing complaints about a ‘missing spirit’ in the context of Bagania’s engineering, then coming with a technical solution, resulting in the rider to find a sensation again that would give him his old confidence. Ducati had to find a intensive solitary human experience and a relationship between the scientific hard-number of parts and settings.

After months of burning midnight oil, a success was made in the Egyptian Test ahead of Japanese GP. But if it was not for its title sponsor Lenovo, Ducati Factory Team – and Bagania, then they are still waiting.

Lenovo may have named the team from 2021, but not everyone knows that it is much more than a branding system. Lenovo was already an official technology partner of Ducati three years before becoming a title sponsor. Since 2018, its premium hardware, high performance computing and advanced A-Taiyar solution have been an important part of Ducati’s ongoing performance.

“This is more than a partnership,” said Ducati Korce Sporting Director Mauro Grassili, who portrayed Ducati’s Perfect in Mottegi prominently at the ceremony on Sunday.

“We have started together in the beginning and then we have grown together. And speaking honestly, I don’t see the future as a partner from a sports point of view without Lenovo, from a technology point of view. So we are actually part of the same project.”

Lenovo’s global sponsorship and activation Director Lara Rodini emphasized the same point.

“We are actually part of the ducker operation,” he said. “This is not just the situation. Our logo and the ducchy Motoogi (project) have a single DNA like a single DNA that we are working together to achieve the major goals we have.”

Of course, Ducati and Lenovo achieved their two biggest targets in Mottegi in the last weekend: sealing and winning the World Championship of Marx. While Mark’s title celebrations stole the show properly, people involved in resolving the issues of Bagania would feel satisfied with the efforts of a team that finally speaking to man and machine.

“The big problem that we usually have is to translate the feelings that the rider is for technology,” Grassili explained. “It was very difficult to have such a relationship between riders and engineers at the beginning of our history in Motogp, especially after the race or after practice.

“Lenovo and technology in general, from the beginning, helped us to give such an answer. It is not easy to find the correct answer every time, but we try our best and Lenovo, of course, helps us 100%.

“Sometimes when a human does not help us give a correct answer, the technique helps us to answer this.”
