Even if Mark does not score at all on Saturday, while Alex wins, it will reduce the difference by 170 points. But the 25 points available in GP will still lead to 185 points-and a different possibility for the title-mark.

“I have a lot of respect for Honda,” he said on Sunday after Ducati won at home ground in Munu. “It doesn’t matter that we celebrate in Japan or Indonesia. Winning in Japan is nothing special.”
He said that he is still on the fact that a title opportunity has come so soon, and warned against the dangers of decency.
“It’s something amazing,” he said. “It still seems untrue, but I do not want to lose any concentration. I want to have only one level. It is true that it seems that it is a matter of time before we achieve our main goal – but I want to move and end the season in the best way.
“I know that we need to try to close as soon as possible (championship), but I know that Alex is super fast and he is also fighting for the second place in the championship. So let’s see if we can go with the same mindset and equal level.”
