After struggling through the first half of the season with a car operated in a very narrow window, Red Bull has turned into a corner in the recent race. Max Verustapane Won the back-to-back Formula 1, and says that the step in performance is just more than the new parts.
With two major wins in Monza and Baku, and A front-line begins in SingaporeRed Bull has shown significant progress in recent weeks. Even it makes Verustapane a potential factor in the title fight – although Dutchman himself doesn’t want to move away yet yet.
Singapore Grand Prix Weekends have so far displayed that Red Bull’s resurrection is not limited to low-dounge tracks such as Monza and Baku. Singapore requires a high-downfores set-up, and even the team remains competitive with that configuration, at least more than a lap. Vestappen will have to start back George Russell – Partly due to the moment of his disappointment Lando Noris – But he still moves beyond both McLerances.
Verstappen “could not imagine it in Zandvoort”
“It worked very well,” Vastapane said that when asked if the high-deporation testing for the Red Bull had gone according to the plan. “If you tell me before the weekend that things go on in this way, I must have signed it immediately. It has always been a track that is really difficult for us. The fact that we were fighting for a poll position, already a very good sign.”
It outlines the tendency upwards – a one whom Vastapane himself could not even imagine back in the zandwort. He said, “No one expected it to be honest. But of course, there are reasons that things are suddenly doing better. I can’t just say what they are,” he said with a smile.
It is believed that one of the reasons for this is the new floor which was introduced by Red Bull in Monza. This has helped, but Vastapane clarified during her Dutch media session at Singapore Padock that it is not the main factor.

“Well, everything helps, of course, but this is not the whole reason,” he explained. Asked what is the most important factor, Vastapane replied: “A different philosophy.”
This refers to a new work approach – a one that seems to be paying in recent weekends. The verstappen does not want to go into the details, but the Red Bull does not need to overhall the set-up of the car after Friday, something that often occurred before this season. “That’s correct. Now we can give more tune to the car throughout the weekend, and this is the most important thing.”
Did RB21 had more capacity earlier this year?
This naturally raises another important question: is this capacity in the car? This is a “if” landscape that eventually does not change anything in standing, but it is still a complicated because it states that RB21 was probably not as bad as many thoughts. Instead, perhaps the red bull was not just able to unlock its performance continuously.
Asked about the principle of cotorsport.com, Vastapane first confirmed it: “It is very clear, yes. But now we can’t do anything about it.”

He admitted that, Red Bull had learned in recent weeks, the team could have been extracted more in the year before its 2025 challenger. “In the beginning of the season, of course – of course,” Vastapane admitted.
This knowledge can come very late for the fifth world title, but it has made the red bull more competitive in the closing stages of the season. Asked whether Singapore proves whether the red bull can now be competitive on any circuit, Vastapane added a small note of caution.
“You still have to find the optimal setup every weekend,” he explained. “Gaps are now so small that the set-up can have a small mistake or some more big results. We have to look carefully in every weekend.”
Nevertheless, Vastapane admitted that the better execution of the team is a great positive in that, which is more likely to hit the sweet space. “This is definitely the most encouraging thing, yes.”
