A new architectural icon landed in Brooklyn: Pibel GrandA futuristic modular cabin designed by Hungarian Studios Hello WoodInstalled on a roof with a view of the manhattan, these sculpture pods represent the next chapter in a small-scale durable architecture-modern design, state-of-the-art technology and five-stars a comfort.
Hello Wood first hosted her name Creative Architectural Camp, where practical ideas often turn into large -scale public establishments. Over time, the studio developed into a full-service design and build company, which prepares unique cabins and glmping solutions that merge art and architecture. His first big success came with OneA compact workstation cabin. Construction on that foundation expands the concept with large, more luxurious modules designed for both Grand urban roofs and natural settings.
Unlike traditional cabins, PEBL Grand looks like a space capsule or naturally formed boulder, hence the name. Its low-poly, pebble-inspired geometry box is away from the modular design, making it even equally at home or a high-growth building in the city in a tree filled with a tree. Hello Wood’s proprietary construction system, presented for patent protection, depends on a CNC-made CLT (cross-lime timber) shell, which is leveled with insulation and waterproofing, which ensures durability by reducing waste and assembly time. Allow the outer finish – from wood and stone to aluminum or mirror panel – allow each cabin to mix in your environment or stand out as a design statement.
One of the biggest benefits of PEBL Grand is how quickly and permanent it can be made. Each unit is fully pretended in Europe and based on the destination, either turns or flat-packs sent to turnky-redi or flat-pack. Once distributed, the cabin can be installed in only one day using the ground Screw Foundation System – eliminating the need for concrete and significantly reducing the environmental impact. The preparation of the site often takes only a few hours, making the process faster, approximate and ideal for projects where delays are expensive. This efficiency not only speeds up delivery, but also ensures that every cabin maintains the signature level of Hello Wood’s craftsmanship.
Despite its compact footprint, PEBL Grand provides comfort of a boutique hotel suit. Each unit can be fitted with a king -shaped bed, cooking, food nook, bathroom and even a renovation sauna. Large glass opening frame sweeping views, while modular ad-on allow several pebl cabins to be connected to extended space. Because cabins can be flat-packed in shipping containers and can be installed on the same day with minimal site prep, they are ideal for glowing resorts, creative studios, exclusive events, or private retreat.
In May, five PEBL Grand Units were installed on the roof of the Brooklyn Entertainment site, which survived a stylish backstage to offer one type of ideas of Manhattan Skyline to the artists. The project indicates how mobile, durable and design-forward micro-arcaterture can be suited to dense urban environment without heavy construction or disruption.
One of the major architects of PEBL Grand, Tamas Phulep says, “PEBL Grand is the result of the years of dedicated development, which has taken Hello Wood from Budapest to New York.”
