SOmetimes You can choose your neighbors. It was a case for this young family of four, who approached the owners of a contemporary house next to the Lake House of his best friends in Horsasho Bay, Texas. The time was right, and the original owners agreed to sell. By a happy coincidence, the ETCH design group worked on the design with both sets of owners.
ETCH began working with the owners of the original house during the construction phase, helping selected finish such as floor, tile, countertops, cabinet and lighting. The owners of the new house bought the house about two months before completion. After staring at Etch’s work online, he hired the team to help present the interior and layer in the final design elements – furniture, rugs, arts and accessories – some tweex for tiles and lighting on the way. The result is a hot contemporary house that is family friendly, weekends have fun in the lake for friends of all ages.
