Architectural designer Tim Tis Bethani Beach, Delaware, lived throughout his life, but he and his wife never found their dream home. Recently, he decided to find a lot that ignores water and constructs above the ground. They bought land with salt pond, an inland, water esturinated body is about three-fourths one Miles from the beach. There were a lot of challenges including bringing water and sewer services on the site. The tice was also careful to make the house a proper distance from the nearby Wetlands and to ensure that they were preserved during the construction process.
For home, the couple wanted a house where their children would grow up, but they were also wondering how it would work for them once the children blew the nest. As someone produced and picked up in the region, Tice wanted the design to be ready for his favorite “old school” Bethani Beach Cottage, while also a more modern and minimal design.
