Gresini unveils 2025 MotoGP livery at Imola

Gresini Racing unveiled the livery for its 2025 MotoGP challenger at a presentation in Imola on Saturday.

During a special event at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari near its base, the Italian team took the wraps off the two Ducati GP24 bikes that it will run on customer bases this year.

Gresini has decided to retain the light blue and red color scheme, which was first adopted in 2022 when he joined Ducati as a satellite team.

Five-time podium finisher Alex Márquez and MotoGP newbie Fermín Aldeguer were both present at the launch along with team owner Nadia Padovani.

Alex Márquez signed a new two-year contract with Gresini in July, keeping him at the team until the end of 2026, while Ducati moved its factory rider Aldeguer to the other Gresini seat after Marc Márquez graduated to the factory team. Kept on.

Gresini enjoyed a stellar 2024 season with the addition of the elder Marquez to its line-up, with the six-time premier class champion winning three Grands Prix and finishing third in the championship.

Alex Márquez joined his brother Marc on the podium at the Sachsenring and finished a career-best eighth in the riders’ standings.

Together, the Márquez duo lifted Gresini to third place in the Teams Championship, ahead of fellow Ducati squad VR46, but also the factory teams of Aprilia and KTM.

Alex Marquez will now take on the role of team leader at Gresini, as Moto2 leader Aldeguer graduates to MotoGP after three full seasons in the intermediate class.

He will debut at the Thailand Grand Prix in March at the age of just 19.

“We are leaving behind a fantastic 2024 and we are accepting 2025 with great inspiration, in which expectations remain high,” said team boss Padovani.

“We have a team with abundant experience, two very talented riders, and we are eager to continue to surprise as we have done so far in 2022.

“Fermin has just arrived but has already won a place in our hearts, while I believe Alex can and must fight for the top five every race weekend.
