General Motors is planning to promote the production of light-duty trucks in the US as the industry faces the challenges related to the President. Donald Trump’s The latest round of auto tariffs.
Prominent vehicle manufacturers are adding several hundred temporary workers to maximize the production of light-duty trucks at their Fort Wayne, Indiana, Assembly plant, the company told Fox Business.

The company currently produces a light-duty truck at its Fort Wayne Assembly plant in Ranoke, Indiana, and also at its Silao Complex in Mexico. It produces heavy duty trucks in Flint, Michigan and its Oshwa assembly in Canada.
All other plants in America, Mexico and Canada are on Their scheduled production.
