A iconic baby food brand is shutting down an initial product after being sent to an emergency chamber after using a child.
Gerbar announced to remember his Soothe N Chew Teathing Stick on 31 January. In a press release published by the original company Nestle USA, the brand stated that the products introduced “a potentially dissolved threat to infants and young children”.
“Choking incidents were remembered after receiving consumer complaints,” Gerbar said in the release. “To date, an emergency room trip has been reported.
Products were distributed to 45 states Plus Puerto Rico, including: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Oyoa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kantaki, Louisiana , Massachusetts, Maryland. Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington and Visconsin.

Distribution -free states were Alaska, North Dakota, Vyoming, Louisiana and Vyoming. According to the Gerbar, the products were “through the Internet and the nationwide distributed through the distribution centers and retail stores in the following states and regions.”
Early products came into two tastes: strawberry apples and bananas. Recall and dissection is limited to those two tastes only.
The release insisted that the parents who bought chewing rods “should not” feed their child, and the product can return to the retailer where it was purchased for a refund. “

“Anyone concerned about injury or disease should contact the health care provider,” the statement said. “For any additional support, Gerbar 24/7 is available at 1-800-4-4-Gearbers (1-800-443-7237).”
“We are working with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on this recall and will fully collaborate with them,” said Gerbar. “We honestly apologize for any concern or discomfort. This action represents to parents, carers and retail customers.”
Remembering the products is rare for the gear, but it is in the past. In 2023, Gerber Baby Formula For potentially harmful bacteria, it was remembered that dozens of retailers were accidentally sent after recall started.
