The study limited the list to 122 metro, except for cities with population less than 300,000, or with a shortage of adequate data. The ranking was based on major general Z preferences such as strength, culture, diversity, environment and overall vividity.
The author of the report Mihala Buzek wrote, “We keep this list together to help General Z grade to find cities that provide a balance between rewarding work and a good life.”
