Samsung is making a controversial change with the Galaxy Z fold 7 by removing S Pen Support from Foldable, all in search of creating a thin and more durable tools.
S Penn made his debut at the Galaxy Note series, and forever put a name for himself in the history of mobile devices. The first generations of Samsung of the fold series have not supported the feature, but it has been in almost every Galaxy Z fold release since then since the Galaxy Z Fold 3 of 2021. Nearly, in this case, the Galaxy Z Folds Folded Special Edition of the previous year, which in many ways, serves as a template for the Galaxy Z fold 7.
Sadly, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 involves the removal of S Pen Support.
Samsung’s latest foldable, despite its many major reforms, no longer supports S Pen. You will not be able to use the existing S pen with fold 7, nor will Samsung be released a new for this device. Was rumored at one point,
Why to remove?
Samsung cites two main reasons. First, the form factor only. Galaxy jade fold is 7 Very The diluted at 8.9 mm (folded), compared to the pre -generations adds the digitizer thickness required for support. In addition, that digitizer is removed and left the room for thick ultra-skinny glass, which improves the durability.
Some Samsung rivals offered stylus support in similar form factors (Oppo finds N5 comes to mind) In this argument, a hole pokes, but the business is meaningful for many people. Samsung also said that S Penn has not been used too much on pre -generations, so the effect is also likely to be minimal.
