The building will be part of a large campus which will name the present headquarters, Henry Ford II World Center. Henry Ford II was the grandson of the founder Henry Ford and served as CEO from 1945 to 1979. When completed, Ford said that 14,000 employees would be at 15 minutes of walking the building.

Ford’s new location will include six design studios, product reviews, a 160,000 square foot food hall, wellness and mother’s rooms as well as more than 300 tech-able meeting rooms.
