The American Express is bringing the Centurion Lounge to Japan with the opening of its long -awaited outposts at Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo.
7,500 square feet of place opens this week and is in Terminal 3 near Gate 114.
The main attraction of the new lounge includes a Japanese-induced design and a comprehensive selection of local food-and-beverages options.
When to go: These are the best times to buy international flights
Amex Chef is working closely with Satoshi Ogino, which is known for the management of several Michelin-wardted restaurants including his own Akasaka Ogino to design food experiences in the lounge.
Amex says that passengers can expect Japanese favorite including Sushi and Ramon, and a buffet will offer both local and western cuisine.
Bar will offer wine and cocktails, as well as select Japanese beer, khatir and shuchu.
Better yet, even a dedicated sweets bar where you will find a classification of tea and traditional Japanese Vagashi sweets.
In addition to large investment in food experience, the lounge itself feels that it will be a beautiful place to relax. The design is inspired by Japanese culture, and you will find platforms of a deep Indigo Hue, called “Japan Blue”, designed to represent peace and stability throughout the space.

Amex also tapped local artists to cure some of its most signed pieces, including Sai Matsumoto re -evilting the signature Amex Bulldog in a stunning cloth.
In addition to these unique elements, this Centurion Lounge will include all the basics.
Private phone rooms are doubled as meditation pods. There is also a variety of seating spaces including armchairs, high-top tables, dining tables and couchs.
Even a TV has a private room with seating to accommodate families and small groups equipped with TV.
People with the American Express invited-people with the Centurion Card can rest in the dedicated VIP room of the lounge, which offers another more exclusive design, its own drink station and, best, rapid track access to lounge.
The Centurion Card information is collected independently by the points cow. The card details on this page or the card have not been provided by the issuer.
At just 7,500 sq ft, there will be no doubt in this lounge that it will be quite busy, and I hope to make a weightlist during the peak travel windows.
Of course, some offer is better than nothing, so I am excited to investigate this new Centurion Lounge the next time I am undergoing HND.
The place is Amax’s 30th Centurion Lounge, and is also the fourth in Asia, which is joining the existing post in New Delhi, Hong Kong and Mumbai, India.
