Window stained glass, to play with right Sisters Glass doors designed for some cabinets. They were fabricated by a craftsman who lives in the neighborhood. They added LED rope lights inside the cabinets to illuminate them. To maintain the old -fashioned spirit of the house, the Right Senses got stuck with a classic palette. Countertops are soopstones, backplash white subway tiles and custom inset cabinets-one muted green (relaxed gray by Sherwin-Ciliums) is painted-are-Sakar-style. Wooden floors are original for the house.
All brass on plumbing fixtures and cabinet hardware has been unlocked, so it will develop a fetina over time. While the white farmhouse sink and brass tap have a classic finish, the details on the apron of the sink and the silhouette of the tap are updated and fresh. The Wright Senses also included scalloped edges on countertops, which are some flair for the wide craftsmanship of art and craft houses.
