ferrari It has become the first Formula 1 team to reveal the launch date of its 2025 car.
The Italian outfit posted a teaser image on social media above the date of February 19, with the message “Get ready to meet our 2025 challenger”.
Although no further details were given, the organization has traditionally held such launch events at its Maranello base.
Ferrari’s reveal will come the day after F1’s official season launch at the O2 in London, where all 20 drivers and 10 teams are set to publicly unveil their liveries for the first time.
Although some teams have chosen to reveal their new cars before the O2 event, it is likely that most will remain committed to the reveal until later, as pre-season testing will not begin until 26 February in Bahrain.
Ferrari heads into the 2025 season, where it will bid for world championship glory on the strength of the tough challenge it has faced this year.

The timing of the launch of the official F1 season and Ferrari’s own schedule meant that the squad rejected any official presentation of Hamilton as a Prancing Horse driver, as famously happened then Michael Schumacher Joined in 1996.
Speaking to the media during an event in Maranello on Wednesday, team principal Fred Vasseur said: “We have to focus on the season. There will be a very difficult period between day one and launch, a matter of a couple of weeks. I want everyone to focus on the performance.

“We will have the championship launch and we will have the car launch. It’s already two events and it’s too much (to do another).”
Ferrari has not yet decided when Hamilton will get his first test in a Ferrari car, with the team hoping to schedule him to race in the previous car – potentially making it a 2023 challenge – at either Fiorano or Maranello.
Vasseur said the timing would be affected by weather but it was not something he was unduly worried about.
“He’s not the rookie of the year, I’m not worried about that at all,” he said.
“We know we have to absorb a lot of processes during these few days, but he is experienced enough to do so.
“We have the advantage of having a simulator and will be able to do race simulations and qualifying simulations in the simulator and be fully prepared with the steering wheel and all the specifications of the car. But I am not worried about it and it is not the biggest challenge.
