Fashion people agree—jeans always look chic with this smart flat shoe trend

As the days start to get a little longer and the promise of warmer weather approaches, I’ve started to imagine what kind of wardrobe I want to curate for the coming season. Welcoming in a brighter palette, while maintaining a strong hold on some winter staples What I’ve fallen in love with – I’m looking for certain pieces that capture the in-between season energy I’m gravitating towards at the moment.

Of the pieces that caught my eye, none attracted me like brown suede loafers I suddenly seem to be everywhere, especially Saint Laurent brown suede loafers Which appears to be the catalyst for this recent influx.

In a rich, chocolatey hue, these loafers bring depth and warmth to everyday looks that feel more fresh than their classic black counterparts. Soft, supple suede adds an effortless, lived-in vibe – a far cry from the sometimes stuffy feel of patent or hard leather styles. They strike the perfect balance between polish and comfort, making them an ideal choice for daily styling.

A neutral color that’s very easy to incorporate into a wider wardrobe, I think browns style well with a wider range of colors than you might have initially imagined. Wearing great with lighter shades of blue, the brown suede loafer trend looks especially great for styling jeansIn addition to that classic combination, this trend also looks attractive when worn with moody gray or black denim as we wait out the coldest months, or with cotton trousers as we move into the new season.

While these boots look great with winter attire, the delicate nature of the soft suede makes them a better choice for styling on bright spring days and away from the omnipresent threat of rain.

From deep mahogany shades to light latte styles, designers and high street labels are rife with the growing trend. Mesmerized by the styles available at Arquette and other storiesI’ve also seen this trend emerging at some of my favorite high-end shoe labels, including Ayde and Gianvito Rossi.
