My opinion of the family being a black sheep is when family problems are blamed on you, that you can never do anything right. That is the reason that you are wrong with the family. And that this is your role from an early age and all family members participate directly or indirectly, consciously or unknowingly.
The chart has not found much about this element, as far as I am able to find that Jupiter, Neptune play a roll and possibly play Mars. I have not found anything regarding the placement.
