Facebook adds AI assistant to its dating app

Facebook dating has added two new AI tools, because it is clearly a big language model that the discovery of love and companionship is missing since this time. The social media platform introduced a chatbot called Dating Assistant that can help find possible dates based on the user’s interests. In Announcing the features, the example Meta “Find me a Brooklyn girl in Tech.” Chatbot “can provide dating ideas or help you level your profile.” Dating Assistant will start a sequential rollout for the match tab for users in the US and Canada. And of course everyone will use it in a mature, responsible, not-in all-all fashion.

The other AI addition is cute, which uses a “personal matching algorithm” to give a stunning candidate that determines that you can prefer. There is no explanation in the blog post how the meta algorithm will assess the possible dates. If you do not want to see that who thinks of meta AI thinks that there will be a compatible match every week, you can get out of the cute at any time. The purpose of these two features is to combat “swipe fatigue”, so if you are 1), using Facebook dating, and 3) are actually tired of swipeing, perhaps this is the solution you need.
