“Beauty, femininity, temptation, empowerment, strength, determination, dedication, energy, development, future.” Each dress was shaped around the meaning of those ten words by Elisbetta Franch-which in the resort 2026 collection, became a manifesto, printed on a T-shirt or embroidered on the pocket of a denim shirt. In the space between each word, the designer continued to write his story with consistentness and intentions.
“This collection cannot be seen as a standalone story, but as the latest chapter in an ongoing journey, surrounding the code of our DNA. A garment should never define a woman’s personality – this is the woman she wears that she wears,” Franchi said. “It is a tribute to a conscious, confident woman who stands as a true hero of his time.” With the desire to celebrate femininity, the body became the central focus of the story: discovered, sculpture, defined, exposed-although not necessarily through body-hugging silhouette. When drawing from the Menswear Code, size softened, more liquid, more classic.
The collection was immediately made recognizable, crocodile print, painted in trench coats, fabrics, shirts and trousers, and interpreted into suede, gabardin or satin. The new color for the season was the palette, which was first, burst with vivid intensity. Breaking linear elegance of cocoa, clay, white and black was aloe green, lilac and sun yellow sheds. From coursetry -inspired by denim to spiderwab beading, from the body aware weaving to nylon bombers and rapidly sewn jackets and trousers, the collection came as a drama of attraction between distant aesthetics. The logo appeared as a jewel-like expansion on clothes and stylatto heels, but it was golden bangles-they were always wearing on the wrist-that raised the image of a woman, who is not worried about where she is going, but how she reaches there.
