Avoid processed foods: A Mediterranean diet includes complete foods. It does not include many packed or processed foods (a long, lazy lunch vs. a grab-end-go food). Try to avoid highly processed foods, which often include sugars, refined grains, trans fats and sophisticated vegetable oils (Soybean oil, Corn oiletc.)
