All nine Canadian Football League franchisees welcome a participant from a diverse cultural background to participate in the fourth annual diversity in the football program.

Carter is the most notable name from the group. He was selected in the first round, the fourth in total during the 2000 CFL draft. Six-foot-one, 200-pound defender played for Toronto Argonats, Ottawa Renegads, Hamilton Tiger-Cat and Vinnipag Blue Bombers during his game career.
Toronto natives recorded 319 defensive tackles, 39 special teams tackle, 10 fambal recovery, eight sacks and seven interception, while scoring three defensive touchdowns. He adapted to 118 regular season games, in which CFL introduced 73 through eight sessions.
