First: The owners of the 1980s pubodies, Massachusetts, Post-And Beim Homes thought that kitchen equipment and sink location worked for their needs. But basic honey oak cabinets, black granite countertops, granite tile backplash and salmon-colored ceramic floor tiles need to be updated. In addition, the couple felt that the abundance of brown and dark tones attracted attention from the attractive exposed parquet. There was also a peninsula that came out from behind an unnecessary coat closet near the front entry of the house, partially appearing here to the lower left, which cuts the kitchen from the living room and dining area.
The couple arrived at the designer Jenny Jacobs to help the better flow and a light and ventilated contemporary style to match the rest of the house.
