Since the onset of the 2025 Motogp season, Bagnaia had some shortage of GP25, but his form moved forward after the summer break, which raised questions about his future in Ducati.
The two sides had tried various reforms in the last months, but it seemed that there was no solution in sight for their problems.
However, the time of this month’s Munano Test could not have been better for Bagania, which finally managed to click with a bike, which he believed that he was preventing them from showing his real ability.
It has been revealed that Ducati introduced a hybrid machine for Bagania in Vryano, which included some elements of the previous year, such as swingarm, fork and aircraft, in GP 25.
However, Ducati team Manager David Tardozi did not disclose whether there was a change in success and/or other factors such as the mandatory use of 355 mm brakes in Motesi.
He said, “I think Mayano was important for Misso on Monday. Gigi (Dumbling) and engineers found the ideal mixture that he was feeling it.”

A complete return for GP24 is not allowed under rules, but Ducati is free to mix and match various components because it sees fit.
Bagania has also provided some information about what has changed on her bike between race weekends in Mayano and Motegi.
“We have not returned to GP24, but we have changed parts that do not work in other situations, and they have them here and in Munano,” he told DAZN. “Perhaps (changes were made) out of frustration, but they have started working better again, and finally, I felt better. I was able to ride more like last year.”
However, Bagania will not confirm that those parts were directly from 2024 bikes, just saying: “They are parts that Marks (Marx) also.”
Bagania does not have a strong answer to why the changes in the bike are working for him, but he cannot help, but think how different his season would have been if he had made success in the year first in the year.
Vyano marked the third and final pre-season test of 2025, meaning at least two opportunities during the year.
“This is something I cannot explain,” he said that when asked why those parts are working now. “But after the result, I am not asking myself so many questions, I am just happy.
“Finally, we were all in the same position, working together. The result has come here, but it could definitely come soon.
“Perhaps in the gerase test, if this solution was found earlier, I could have a completely different season, but in the end, what happened, and we decided it with six races.”

There was a wide bay between Ducati and Bagania, which caused their recession in this season.
Ducati was adamant that nothing was wrong with the bike, and Bagania needed to gain trust in himself to fight for victory again.
On the other hand, Italian was convinced that he was giving his best, and that he had to change something on the bike to find his form again.
While the bike has now changed itself, whether rebirth for some of some bike components also had a psychological impact, which allowed him to win 11 out of 20 Grands Prix in the previous season.
The 28-year-old was also capable of bending on the experience of the former-Motogpp star Casey Stoner, who gave him a different perspective during this month’s Myso Test.
Either way, after several false dawn, Bagania feels that she is now really back to its 2024 best.
“I’m back. I am doing my best running: starting well and working hard,” he said. “Thanks to the team, they have done an impeccable job, finally giving me an innocent set-up on the bike. This feeling is super sweet.”
Asked if he feels ‘free’ on the bike, he said: “Yes, I really do. Throughout the weekend, I liked the bike from the Egypt.
“Tonight, my team decided everything and installed two equal bikes (with test specifications). This morning, knowing that I had both bikes, it was easy to push. The pole situation was perfect, and so it was a race.
“Starting well, pushing, maintaining my speed, I could not ask more. I always believe that I can get these results; I have always said that when I have got a chance to stay there. And today we have proved it.”
