A series of mills captured during the attempt to murder on Donald Trump won the braking news photography category, while the photographs of Sedney Jail summon in Syria won the award for feature photography.

The photo sequence was captured in July 2024 when Donald Trump was holding a rally in Pennsylvania. By that point, Mills states that it was a “standard, specific” rally for the expectation of the then President and he and about four other photographers were covering the incident until the gunshots left out.
“At first I felt that this was a car. The last thing I thought was a gun,” Mills wrote at that time“I kept taking pictures. He went down behind the lecture, and I thought,” Oh my God, something happened. “
Mills says that he has never been a part of such a horrors.
“I was always afraid of being in this situation. I always wondered what I would do in this situation. I hope I will get the right shot. I hope I am not shooting myself.”
