Hemlin signed a two -year deal to continue number 11 Toyota through 2027 seasonAnd when he would not say anything, the 44 -year -old indicated that this could expand his final contract with JGR.

For the length of the deal, Halin said that all this came down as to what he thought he understood the most for himself. He has dating the entirety of his NASCAR Cup career with JGR back in the 2005 season.
“For me, I feel comfortable with all this,” Hamleen said. “Three years? Who knows what can happen after three years from now, so I just want to make sure that I give them (Joe Gibs Racing) appropriate time and make sure that I am committed to them for a year, many years.
When they are two years, what will Hemlin take care before deciding whether he wants to hang the helmet or not? According to an experienced driver, two main factor will be where the team is in and how the competitive Hamlin feels that he lives behind the wheel.
“All those things are just big factors in it, but I just want the ability to know that I can win my previous race,” Hamlin continued. “This is going to be a decisive factor. I am not going to wait until I start the head down and then do not retire. I do not want to go through the whole year. I understand that if it happens naturally in the second half of the final year, it just happens, but I am going to the end of the next year, but I will retire.

Despite the possibility of slowing down, the Hamlin remains a highly competitive driver on the track, leading all the drivers to lead with four wins this year. He currently has just two wins from cracking the top ten in the all-time win list. So, in addition to a championship, Halin wants Halin out of his hall of fame career?
“Just more crown jewelry,” Hamleen said. “I don’t know how much I have now. Seven. So, if I can get eight or nine, I don’t know if it changes too much, but it definitely makes me feel a little better. You should have a goal, and those crown jewels will be a person you know that we are going to run in this way.”
As a longevity, there are some drivers who can say that they are running for the same team for 20 straight years. Currently, Hamlin is the only driver in the cup chain that can say. He said that the relationship with JGR means “a lot” for him, to give him credit for whatever he has today.
“They are the ones who went out on one organ and hired me when I had nothing,” Hamleen said. “They took a chance on me and JD (Gibbs) clearly accepted a lot on me. So yes, you want to pay back to the family who has started you and you know, it will be more than 20 years that I will be with them and cannot imagine racing for any other organization, very few families.”
