Davinci resolution is the first Macos video editor to fully support Apple Emergent Video


Blackmagic Design released Revenci Devinci Resolve 20.1, offering full support for Apple Vision Pro Emarsive Video Workflow. With this release, the Davinci resolve apple becomes the first professional non-relative editor (NL) to offer a full end-to-end solution to create, edit and distribute the apple immersive video content.

Emergent editing and viewing experience

One of the headline characteristics of Davinci Resolve 20.1 is its new emergent video viewer, which allows editors to preview direct immersive materials directly on a standard 2D monitor with PAN, Tilt, and Roll Control, or streams in real time for Apple Vision Pro to see in-headsets. This feature enables immersive editing without leaving the familiar resolution interface.

Users can treat immersive video files like traditional media, employing drag-end-drop workflow in editing page. The update also introduces a unique 360º backdrop track, which enables filmmakers to place material around the perimeter of the immersive launch area.

Color grading and visual effects for immersive media

On the color page, editors can apply selected secondary equipment for full suit and immersive footage of Davinci resolution of primary grading tools. Streamlined distribution for Apple Vision Pro

Media and delivery pages have been updated to include Apple Emarsive Video Export PreSet. Once provided, files can be dropped in the immersive video utility of Apple for MACOS or exports to use with apple compressor as a prurse bundle. These workflows simplify what was a complex and fragmented post-production process for immersive videos earlier.

AI, Kaframe and Text Improvement are beyond Emarsiv

In addition to immersive video support, Davinci Resolve 20.1 includes updates in its toolset. The AI Magic Mask 2 provides increased tracking and masking accuracy in the 2 fusion page. The keframe editor is re -designed with better ease, curve visibility and new controls for vertical zoom and timeline navigation.

Multitext also sees significant reforms, including character-level formatting, paragraph alignment and ability to import and format data-operated text from CSV files. These additions further enhance the resolution appeal for motion graphics and data visualization.

Complete the workflow with Ursa Cine Emergi camera

Ursa Cine Emergi camera created in association with Apple’s Emergent Video (AIV) format provides high-resolution in 90 frames per second for shooting AIV, Calibrated 8160 x 7200 sensor to capture stereoscopic 3D videos and a custom fixed lens system. The camera writes the synchronized lens data and video for blackmiagic raw files, ensuring that the metadata remains compatible with the entire post-production.

On the capture side, Ursa with cine immersive camera and Devi solve 20.1 on the post-production side, the blackmizic design now offers the first integrated pipeline for immersive video production.

Pricing and availability

Davinci 20.1 solution Now available as a free update for existing users, although immersive features are exclusive for Davinci Sankalp studio on MACOS. There are also samples apple immersive video clips available for download To allow users to test new workflows.
