it Crispy chicken salad There is a favorite in my house! This includes air-fried crispy chicken, honey crisp apple, a wonderful homemade maple mustard dressing and candid pekan. This is a delicious and protein -rich lunch or dinner that I can’t find completely enough.
High in protein – I am talking 35 grams per serving!
Great salad for food – I like to make this salad for lunch during the week. Just wait for the salad to prepare you are ready to serve.
Minimum cook time – Chicken is cooked in an air fryer, which means that super minimum kitchen time is required for you. #YahwELOME

- Apple: Here in midwest, we are all about honey crisp apples! The taste is the texture is just the best. Feel free to dilute any apples of your choice.
- Pekan: Candid Pekan Add delicious sweet taste and little crunch. This charming chicken and maple mustard dressing is a great complement.
- Cock: Air Fire Chicken BBS! I love air frying chicken because it becomes crisp in addition to frying + This requires minimal cook time. When I am making this recipe, my child always put a chicken or two steals.
- Dijon mustard: Mustard is the basis of salad dressing for this recipe! It is a homemade dressing that requires some ingredients, but everything can be inserted into a mason jar and shaken before dressing. I like to make a double batch to keep extra dressing on my hand in the fridge.
- Maple syrup: You will use maple in salad dressing and also in candidate pacan. This is the natural sweetener of my choice.
- Spring Mix Greens: Technically, any latelus or field green will work for this salad, so choose your own adventure here. Romin deficiency will be reduced, and therefore a soft butter will be latuus.

Stovetop Candid Pekan
Creating your own candidates is super quick and easy. You just need to heat a large pan on medium/low heat. Add pecan, maple syrup and cinnamon to the skilllet. Toss the Pekan until they are coated, and toast them until they become brown.
Transfer the Pekan to a plate and allow them to cool – feel free to taste some 😋😋.
Chicken
Draw a piece of chicken through the dough, then eggs, and then panco, ensuring that chicken pieces are fully coated. Flour -> Egg -> Panko order for dreging chicken helps to make each piece super crispy and is equally coated in braiding.
Then, move the chicken to the air fryer, making sure that chicken pieces are not touching. Cook at 400 to 400 to 5-8 minutes (depending on what type of air fryer you are using) or until the chicken is golden brown and crisp. You are looking for an internal temperature of 165ºF.
Pro tip: You may need to cook chicken in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

For this salad, my #1 tip has to wait to prepare it just before serving it. Why? Spring Mix is a delicate field green and can be very quickly. In addition, you do not want your super crispy chicken nuggets to either get soggy.

The best way to store the remaining servings of this salad is to keep dressing and chicken separate from everything else. Then, when you are ready to serve, you can heat chicken (either in the air fryer for a few minutes or in the microwave) and toss with dressing to refresh things.
