UPDATE: Space has been filled! If you missed it this time, keep your calendars clear for 2026 when we will host the workshop again on similar dates.
It’s not too late to join our Death Valley Workshop in January – there’s still room for one more photographer to join us! I am able to keep my registration portal open for the next 24 hours, and then I have to close it and send our group information to the National Park Service.
This six-day workshop will take you to some of Death Valley’s most beautiful locations and provide practical instruction for photographers of all levels. It takes place from January 11 to January 16 and includes sand dunes, canyons, salt formations and colorful desert landscapes. The workshop leaders are Spencer Cox and Adam Sheridan.
Right now, hotel accommodation in Stovepipe Wells is full, but I have booked an extra room (a double + twin bed) for seven nights (check-in 10 January, check-out 17 January), which I can transfer to you. Original price $1,403.36. If you prefer to stay at Stovepipe Wells Campground, the price is $14/night, but please be prepared for very cold temperatures.
The workshop costs $2299 and does not include hotels, transportation to/from the park, or meals. We do not normally allow refunds so close to the start of the workshop, but due to the special circumstances of this availability, if you book today we are allowing refunds up to December 31st, excluding credit card fees and National To cover our costs minus the $120 park application fee.
