Charles Lakeler An intra-team says with the possibility of fighting Ferrari Team partner Lewis Hamilton Immediate concern is not a matter of concern, especially because they are “fighting for very interesting positions” in Formula 1 2025.
Although Ferrari has proved to be able to achieve podiums so far this year, but these are the best irregular; Leclerc has four podiums in the first 12 rounds, while Hamilton has yet to achieve the top-three finish in the Grand Prix Trim this season.
Both Ferrari drivers spoke later this week Belgium Grand Prix On his desire to offer the team’s response, where he feels that it needs to improve the title dispute, Hamilton said Ferrari said “not firing on all cylinders”.
For example, the focus is to pursue the maraneello organization. Lakeler says that instead of beating Hamilton, he likes it very much for the rest of 2025.
Monegask said that it is very little interest for him to fight with his team partner on low -point placeing, and that Hamilton is not currently his “target”.
“This is something that is really in the background for now,” Lakeler said. “You are always looking at it in a way or another way, but to be honest, when you are fighting for the fourth, fifth, sixth, then it’s not really something that is as much interested in me.

“Then, of course, when we start fighting for victory, you see those things very closely.
“But this is not really my part … I was just here that whatever I can learn from his Lewis to try and learn as much as possible, what can I benefit as a driver, and then the best possible to focus on myself with the goal of doing the best possible, meaning Loise’s beating, but not only.
“I think the main goal of the team and my main goal at this time is to bring Ferrari back to the top. And, yes, Lewis is not my goal at the moment because we are not fighting for very interesting positions.”
Ferrari has reached Belgium with a new rear suspension package, a one that was tested on a Filming Day in Mugelo last week. Ensured that any running was only cursory, given the distance restrictions on any filming day tests.
Lakeler said there was no real difference in behavior what he could tell in his initial run, but was eager to keep a lid on any more details about the new geometry.
“We don’t (we feel a difference in behavior) and I am not going to comment on the specific behaviors of this suspension,” Lakeler said.

“Obviously, these are things that are made for us and it will be quite stupid for us that we comment globally what it does. But we will find out on the track tomorrow.
“I don’t think (it will change how we set the car). I can gain confidence if I set the car in a different way. So, if I need confidence, I will go for him.
“But for now, I like to go for performance instead of confidence. It does not always pay and I think we have seen it the last race weekend in Silverstone, where obviously there were my struggles, which were very big on wet.
“And I know it is a risk of running such extreme set-ups. I don’t think it will improve it because we still need to install the car in a relatively equal position so that to take out the maximum from it. But I am happy to follow that path.”
