The CFL has always been a passing league, allowing the top quarterback game to earn the status of elite as legends.
Below are the top 20 CFL passing yard leaders of all time. The list includes not only CFL’s all-time passing leaders, out of which three are active players, but also three of the three major passers-by.

20) Tom Burges – 30,308 yards
The two -time gray cup champion and one -time Gray Cup MVP started this list at 20. Native of Newark, NJ played ten seasons at CFL from 1986 to 1995, with two different stents with both Ottawa Rough Riders and Susketewan. , While Vinypeg spends two years with blue bombers.
19) Sam Etcheverry – 30,381 yards
Despite playing in a run-oriented era, Etcheverry is named in CFL’s record book. One-Time MOP still holds the record for the most frequent games with Touchdown Pass (34), 300 consecutive-yard passing games (nine), and the longest pass, and hale to complete 109-yard in 1956 Join with Patterson. 18) Darian Durant – 31,740 yards

Current Blue Bombers Pivat have also spent time to win three gray cups, two CFL MOP Awards and one Gray Cup MVP Award with Toronto Argonats, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Refreeders.
16) Trevor Harris – 33,148 yards*

15) Michael Reilly – 34,805 yards
Kennevik, Va. The native played 10 years north of the border, which included more than two two with BC and six directly with Edmonton. One -time gray cup winner and Gray Cup MVP covered a distance of most of its yards in Alberta, including 5,830 in the history of the Admonton Football Team with 5,830 in the same season. Two-time West Division All-Star also won. His loan MOP Award that year.
14) Diet Brock – 34,830 yards
Passengers of six feet, 195-pound played 11 seasons in CFL, most of which came in Vinnipag. Birmingham, Ala. The native is one of the five players to win the back-to-back MOP Awards, doing so in 1980 and 1981, also receiving All-CFL honors in those years. The product of Jacksonville State University led CFL four times at a distance of yards.
13) Kent Austin – 36,030 yards
Austin spent a decade north of the border, including seven seasons along with the Reforridors. Natic, mass. Natives hold several records, including most pass efforts in the same season (770) and the same game (65). He dumped for the second most yard in one season with 6,225 in 1992 and is one of only three players, with 400 consecutive-yard passing games four.
12) Bo Levi Mitchell – 39,023 yards*
The last remaining active player in this list is coming out of an unprecedented statistical year with Mitchell Tiger-Cat. The two -time CFL MOP and the two -time gray cup champion threw 5,451 yards in 2024, more than 1,000 yards from the next -ranked passer. Mitchell’s latest season extended him further on this list and 34 -year -old may soon reach the top 10 with another strong season in 2025.
11) Tom Clement – 39,041 yards
The seven-time CFL All-Star played 12 seasons with Ottawa, Hamilton, Suskechewan and Vinnipag and claimed a ton hardware during his career. Native of McCis Rocks, Pa. Won the most outstanding fraud, two gray cups, two gray cups MVP and one MOP in 1987 playing for Blue Bombers. He has since enjoyed a 25 -year career coaching at NFL.

9) Doug Flutti – 41,355 yards
Simply put, CFL was owned by Doug Flutti during the 1990s. MD, a native of Manchester, won six CFL MOP Awards, three gray cups, three gray cups MVP, and still has four of the top 10 single-seasons passing yogas in league history, including the best one (6,619), which includes the best one (6,619) Which they have set. 6) Kevin Glenn – 52,867 yards

1) Anthony Calvillo – 79,816 yards
Calvillo played 20 seasons at CFL and was very owned by the league during the 2000s. He earned the 10 East Division All-Star Selection, Five CFL All-Star Nodes, and appeared to win three in eight gray cup games. Los Angeles, a native of California, was nominated to CFL’s MOP three times and the Uluts retired its number 13 after their retirement.
