Suskechewan Rafarders have made changes in their backfield after injuries in week 1, but this combination will not be many expected.
After being signed earlier this week, ‘Dim Kerry will make his green and white debut against Hamilton Tiger-Cat, but the 32-year-old East Division All-Star will be in a backup capacity. Aj Ouellette will still start behind the recover Harris despite getting out of the opener with a clear head injury and being limited on Tuesday.
Instead of Oulett on the shelf, this Canadian backup Thomas Bertrand-Hudone will be sitting on the injured list. The 28 -year -old had 74 yards from scimples last week and two touchdowns in relief, but currently dealing with a waist injury that excluded him from practice.
The riders have also lost a significant start on both sides of the ball, as both weak-side lineback CJ Every (BICEP) and Canadian receiver Kian Shefer-Bekar (legs) both have been placed on the injured list. East created a total of 59 total tacks and three inter-obstructions as a stop last year, while the later 735-yard is coming out of the campaign.
Standout AJ Alan of Canadian special teams will get a node in linebacking corps after creating four defensive stops in relief last week. Backup security Jackson Ford will also attract an opener in the lineup after disappearance with a hand injury, providing additional depth. Veteran Mich Pictton gets node at the location of vacant, while fellow Regina Ram’s alumnus D ‘Scene Mims will wear clothes as backup for his first career game.
Changes have also been made with the aggressive line, where Canadian Daniel Johnson will make his first start in the left tack after a knee injury to American Ruki Paternies Colins. With the ratio of Twiks, the American Jacob Brahmer will jump into the right guard slot after recovering from a back injury and Zack Fry will serve as the sixth man.
Suskechewan Rafarders (1-0) will visit Hamilton Tiger-Cat (0–1) at Hamilton Stadium on Saturday, June 14, with a kickoff slate for 7:00 pm.
