According to the Q3 2025 US House Renovation Barometer, the business spirit in the house construction and design industry has marked the second quarter of low optimism as a commercial activity. The approach between firms is quite low in the beginning of the year, although many professionals still expect a better third quarter performance.
The recently released barometer report provides timely insights into the residential renovation industry, including expectations, project backlogs and recent activity and architectural and design service sector in the construction sector.
“Expectations have become rapidly alert between manufacturing and design professionals as they navigate ongoing economic challenges and low trade activity,” Hauz staff economist Saids Marine Sargasian. “He said, stable backlogs and gradual adjustments in response to market conditions indicate some flexibility. Most are hopeful for better speed through the second half of the year.”
