“For us, it was about designing a house for a life we wanted to live,” is called Marika Drolet-Ferguson. He and his companions, Matthew Bauchar-Kote, who are both architects and cofounded design firm Nordis, spent years to live nomadic when they decided to settle and had a child. Between teaching gigs and artist residences, they often return to Marika’s childhood home in Trekadi-Chail of New Breanswick, so they understood to make something there; It was just a matter of asking himself what a permanent house could seem immersed in the beauty of the Akadian Peninsula.
