President Donald Trump selected the aerospace giants to construct the next generation air dominance platform, which he said that would be the deadliest aircraft ever.
Department of Justice (DOJ) allegedly informed the families of victims of two deadly Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft accidents that it is dismissing criminal fraud charges against airplane maker, although family plans to object to filing.
The Clifford Law Office said in a news release that the DOJ sent a letter to the families on Thursday, informing them that the government agency had filed a resolution to dismiss the criminal fraud case against Boeing.

The DOJ stated that families were informed about a week after the families made a temporary deal with Boeing, which allows the company to avoid criminal prosecution for allegedly misleading regulators about the company’s 737 Max aircraft before two accidents.
DOJ said in court documents last week that under the deal, Boeing paid $ 1.1 billion, including $ 445 million for families of crash victims.
