Billionaire Jeff Bezos on Sunday dismissed reports that he was planning to pay a whopping $600 million in his star-studded Aspen wedding to his fiancee Lauren Sanchez.
This news related to marriage has come out from an exclusive daily Mail The report cited three anonymous sources as saying that the Amazon founder’s lavish wedding was scheduled for December 28. The report claims that actor Kevin Costner’s Dunbar Ranch and sushi restaurant Matsuhisa will be the venue for the ceremony and reception.
Several other sites picked up the story, citing the Daily Mail. One such report caught the attention of Bezos’ fellow billionaire Bill Ackman, who posted on Twitter that the dollar figure was “not credible.”

“Unless you’re buying a house for each of your guests, you can’t spend that much money,” Ackman posted.
Bezos, who has an estimated net worth of $238.5 billion, responded to Ackman’s tweet, not only disputing the price tag but hinting that there would be no wedding next weekend.
“Also, this whole thing is completely false – there is no such thing happening,” Bezos posted to X. “The old adage ‘don’t believe everything you read’ rings truer today than ever.”
Bezos continued by paraphrasing an often-cited quote from Mark Twain.
He wrote, “Now lies can spread all over the world before the truth comes out. So be careful people and don’t be gullible.”

Bezos said, “It will be interesting to see if all the outlets that ‘cover’ and re-report on this issue improve when it comes and goes and it doesn’t.”
Bezos, 60, and Sanchez, 55, are engaged to be engaged in May 2023. Before their engagement, their relationship It lasted for about five years. Both have been married before, with Bezos separating from MacKenzie Scott after two decades.
